Danese Milano began as a handcraft workshop and retail space for artist-designers to produce "unique" objects. "Artworks" in the field of furnishing compliments.
Founded in the late 1950's by Bruno Danese and Jacqueline Vodoz, Danese Milano quickly grew from a handcraft workshop to an experimental laboratory where designers Bruno Munari and Enzo Mari took Danese Milano into the world of serial production.
The innovative and unique designs continued until the early 90's when the company became property of Cassina-Alias. Fortunately for design enthusiasts worldwide, Danese found it's feet again in 1999 with sole administrator Carlotta de Bevilacqua at the reigns.
Today Danese Milano celebrates the "unique" objects of it's origins while contemporary designers such as Naoto Fukasawa tackle the challenge of contemporary perspectives. Innovation stays at the core of this design brand, ever evolving and encouraging new ideas, new materials and relationships between man and his way of living.
We are excited to introduce a select range from the Danese Milano collection to the offering at LUKE Furniture.
